My wait time, eye exams, meeting with Dr Kristin Biggerstaff & scheduling my next appr are incredible. Reaching someone on the phone is sometimes difficult, just be patient. I love the automated system for confirming appts!

6 month follow up visit with KC Eye Clinic, Dr. Ohly. Visit included baseline high resolution pictures of each eye. I have been a patient of the KC Eve Clinic for 30+ years. I have received excellent care from this group of Doctors.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Ohly for about 15 years. Did both eyes for cataracts and has been treating his glaucoma for years. Just had to clean one of my lenses that made my eye sight fuzzy and not clear anymore. Worked great, can see ever thing clear again. He is a 5 star Doctor.

I’ve been going for 7+ years and Dr Nichols has been great every time. The tech staff has been pretty solid as well, ESPECIALLY Jack. He was so patient, creative, nonjudgmental, and clearly cares about his patients. I don’t do well with anything close to my eye or even drops but he handled it like it was no biggie without hesitation. I’m very satisfied with this practice and definitely recommend.

I have been seeing Dr Ohly for several years and he and his staff are extremely competent. He performed cataract surgery on me a few years ago and it turned out perfectly.

Check in was quick and waiting time was short.

Dr Biggerstaff was very helpful in answering my questions. After my first eye was done, I made another appointment to ask her a number of questions I had. She was just great in helping me put my mind at rest. I went ahead and had the second eye done, and I am happy with the final outcome. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a cataract surgeon.

Kansas City Eye Clinic is fantastic! The doctors really take their time to explain things and answer all your questions, and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. Dr. Ketcherside performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes in the spring of 2025. I am very pleased with the results. My distance vision is very good. Also, I can now read a computer screen and a book without reading glasses, which was not the case before the surgery. I felt that all of the KC Eye Clinic staff that I interacted with as a part of the process were very helpful. This included a very comprehensive explanation of various treatment options as well as describing the fee structure for each alternative. The written pre-op and post-op written instructions were comprehensive and very understandable. In addition, I was the recipient of what amounted to a bonus benefit: the anesthesiologist, in getting me ready for the procedure on the day of the surgery for the second eye, observed that I had a heart "flutter" and should see a cardiologist about it. That was news to me. As a result, I have seen a cardiologist and am being treated for this condition that was previously unknown to me. I highly recommend Dr. Ketcherside and the Kansas City Eye Clinic.

Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. All the doctors and technicians were polite and very knowledgeable. When I asked a question of the office personnel and it wasn't their area, they found the right person to answer.

So after having personally experienced successful surgery and care I didn’t hesitate to refer my son to Kansas City Eye Clinic when his optometrist suggested he needed to see an ophthalmologist.
